A random thought about AI 🤖

I’ve been reflecting on this quote by Google’s CEO @sundarpichai this weekend: ⤵️

“AI is one of the most profound things we’re working on as humanity. It’s more profound than fire or electricity.”

✅ If this is, in fact, true, and I believe it’s more true than not, we have lived through a global pandemic and are on the verge of an exponential rate of innovation — all in our lifetimes.

There is no doubt we’ll have issues along the way. We already see some. One of the most disturbing trends I’ve heard of is the speed of innovations taking place in scams.

✅ That being said, the upside is staggering. My dad and I used to watch Star Trek together, and it doesn’t take much to imagine the future humanity is heading into being inspired by the conversations we used to have about technology and leadership after each episode.
